Jaz Erenberg is a renowned muralist celebrated for her vibrant and socially engaged public artworks. Her murals often explore themes of community, nature, and social justice, with a significant emphasis on the connection between people and plants. Erenberg's work is not just about aesthetic appeal but also about fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world and encouraging environmental consciousness.

PlantPop:

PlantPop is a platform dedicated to telling the stories of people and their connections to plants. By diving deeper into this relationship, PlantPop aims to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the horticultural world.


Challenges and Solutions:

There were no significant challenges encountered during the project. The two days spent at the competition allowed ample time to follow Brian and document his journey thoroughly.

Video Production:

  • Planning: The video was carefully planned to capture Jaz Erenberg's creative process, two of her completed murals, and her thoughts on the connection between her artwork, her process, and plants!

  • Filming: The filming took place in various locations where Erenberg's murals are displayed. Interviews with Erenberg were conducted to provide insight into her artistic vision and the significance of plant themes in her work.

Editing: The footage was edited to create a cohesive narrative that highlights the key elements of Erenberg's work and its connection to plants. The editing process aimed to balance visual appeal with informative content.
